Snow squalls and gusty winds will impact travel in parts of Lambton County as we enter the new year.
Environment Canada has issued a yellow snow squall warning for north and east Lambton.
The national weather agency said snow squalls are expected to move into the region Wednesday evening, and for some areas the squalls may remain through Thursday.
Snowfall amounts of five to 10 centimetres is possible.
Environment Canada said near zero visibility in snow and blowing snow at times is expected.
Travel will be particularly hazardous and motorists are advised to prepare for the possibility of quickly changing and deteriorating road conditions.
