Residents in Oxenden may notice fluctuations in their water pressure starting Monday night as municipal crews search for potential leaks.
The Township of Georgian Bluffs and the Ontario Clean Water Agency will be isolating sections of the Oxenden Drinking Water Distribution System by throttling water main valves. The work is scheduled to take place between 11 p.m. Monday and 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Along with reduced pressure, residents could experience temporary discolouration in their water. Anyone seeing discoloured water is advised to run cold taps for 4 to 5 minutes until it runs clear, and to avoid using hot water or doing laundry in the meantime.
