The City of Stratford is creating a new Recreation and Leisure Master Plan to guide the future of municipal recreation, facilities, parks, and community programming.
The long-term strategic tool aims to support informed decision-making, establish municipal priorities, and ensure local services continue to adapt to the evolving needs of residents, community groups, and visitors across the region.
Consulting firm McQueen Galloway Associates will lead the process in close coordination with city staff, council, and local stakeholders.
The team will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of existing assets, analyzing municipal service levels, facility conditions, park spaces, departmental budgets, and current community partnerships.
Public consultation will form a critical component of the final framework, offering local community members opportunities to participate through both in-person workshops and online feedback channels.
Community members, organizations, and interested stakeholders can track project progress, access background materials, and contribute directly to upcoming engagement initiatives on the Engage Stratford platform.
