The Second Annual Farm Crawl returns as the Township of Georgian Bluffs prepares to showcase its vibrant agricultural sector later this month.
On Saturday, August 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., people will be able to experience the diverse local farming, homesteading, and artisan community firsthand through a self-guided driving tour. This year’s crawl features six distinct stops across the township, providing a wide variety of interactive experiences for all ages. Participants can wander through fragrant fields at Bluewater Lavender Farm, visit with animals at G.R.A.C.E. Riding and Snowy Creek Bison, or browse fresh local produce and homemade goods at the Barn on the Bluffs and Outrange Homestead farm stands.
The event highlights the rich diversity of Georgian Bluffs' agricultural landscape. Participants can take advantage of an interactive map and event passport which will act as a guidebook and memory keeper.
The passport allows visitors to collect a unique hole punch at each location they visit. Anyone who stops at a minimum of three participating farms can submit their completed passport to enter a draw for a Bluffs Basket filled with local products. Passports can be printed at home, picked up at the Township Office, or collected at any participating farm stop on the day of the event.
