A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after an early morning crash in Bayfield.
The single-vehicle collision happened on Highway 21 at Clan Gregor Square just after 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Police said motorcyclist, who was along on the bike, suffered life-threatening injuries and had to betaken to hospital by air ambulance.
Highway 21 between Mill Road and Bayfield Road is closed to truck traffic, while local traffic in Bayfield is being directed around the scene, police said. There is no indication of when the road will be reopened.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
