Environment Canada says meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damage through Southwestern Ontario Tuesday evening.
A yellow level thunderstorm warning has been issued for areas including Chatham-Kent, Windsor, Grey and Bruce County.
A red tornado warning has also been issued for the City of Woodstock and Oxford County.
The national weather service says conditions could produce damaging wind gusts and up to quarter size hail and that local utility outages are likely.
The public is asked to take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches.
