The Bayfield Lions Club is getting ready to host its annual Community Breakfast.
This year, the breakfast will be held Saturday, May 17 at the Bayfield Arena from 8-11:30 a.m.
The breakfast this year is a special one, as it ties into Bayfield celebrating its 150th birthday, and there will be a dedicated Bayfield 150 booth at the breakfast.
There will be other fun activities on offer, including the Lions Walk for Dog Guides, and the Bayfield Optimist Club will be selling Rubber Duck Race tickets.
Also, the Photography Club of Bayfield, Bayfield Historical Society, and the Bayfield Lions are pre-selling copies of “Images of Bayfield”, a coffee table book in Bayfield’s 150th Birthday Booth.
Entry is $15 per person and children under 7 eat free. Guests can enjoy scrambled eggs, Huron County sausages, home fries, pancakes with local maple syrup, toast, and juice. The Dairy Farmers of Ontario have also donated regular and chocolate milk for the breakfast.
Proceeds from the event support the Bayfield Lions Club’s community projects and initiatives that benefit the Bayfield and Area community.
