April showers are here.
Environment Canada is forecasting a wet week for midwestern Ontario with rain expected every day until Friday.
Bruce and Grey counties are to get a soaking Monday. A yellow-level rainfall warning is in place for Bruce County and the northern part of Grey County with 40 to 75 millimetres expected to fall by Tuesday night. A special weather statement is in place for southern Grey County, which is forecasted to receive 20 to 30 millimetres of rain.
According to the national weather agency, the rain will break later in the morning before a second round of heavy rain moves in Tuesday morning.
Water could pool on roads and in low-lying areas as the already saturated ground will have a reduced ability to absorb the rainfall.
Environment Canada anticipates more rain will fall Wednesday night with a 60 per cent chance of showers Thursday.
Friday will be the first dry day of the week with the forecast currently calling for partly sunny skies and a high of 21 C.
