Provincial police are asking residents in the Municipality of Chatsworth to check their security camera footage after a dirt bike was stolen during a break-in earlier this month.
The two-stroke Yamaha YZ 250 dirt bike was snatched during the break-and-enter of a shed on a property on Victoria Street near Grey Road 29 sometime between April 3 and April 10.
"Residents in the area are asked to review any home security or dash camera footage for suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity during this timeframe," Grey Bruce OPP said in a statement released on Monday. "Community members are also encouraged to register their cameras with CamSafe, a voluntary camera registry that helps police identify available video sources during investigations."
Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
