No one was hurt, but three vehicles, including a police cruiser, were damaged in a pair of collisions just north of Harriston.
Two pickup trucks travelling in opposite directions on Highway 89 sideswiped each other around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. The force of the crash caused a flatbed trailer being towed by one of the trucks to dislodge and hit a nearby Wellington OPP cruiser.
The police vehicle was at the side of the road at the time as it had pulled another vehicle over in a unrelated traffic stop.
Highway 89 between Harriston and Mount Forest was closed while police investigated the cause of the crash. It was reopened around just before 9:30 a.m.
