Grey Bruce OPP and OPP Aviation responded to reports of stranded people on ice in Georgian Bay near Balmy Beach.
The group was on ice that separated and travelled roughly two kilometres from shore.
According to police, several of the people suffered from hypothermia but are expected to make a full recovery.
