Police looking for driver who took off after Kincardine crash

South Bruce OPP are searching for a driver after a hit-and-run crash in Kincardine that sent one person to hospital.

Two vehicles collided on Bruce Road 23 at Concession 5 early Thursday morning. According to police, one of the vehicles involved left the scene of the crash before emergency crews arrived. It is believed the vehicle is a grey or silver Dodge Caravan, which will have some degree of damage.

A person from the vehicle that stayed on scene suffered unspecified injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who was travelling in the area around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday who witnessed the crash or has dash-camera footage is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-84777 (TIPS).
