One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash north of Milverton on Wednesday night.
Emergency crews were called after the vehicles collided on Perth Line 72 near Perth Road 140 in the Municipality of North Perth around 7:15 p.m.
Despite life-saving measures being taken by first responders, the driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene. She has been identified as a 19-year-old Atwood woman.
A passenger from the 19-year-old's vehicle and the driver of the second vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, Perth OPP said.
Perth Line 72 between Road 147 and Road 136, as well as Road 140 between Perth Line 71 and Perth Line 75, were closed for several hours to allow members of the West Region OPP traffic incident management and enforcement team to investigate. The road was reopened early Thursday morning.
