A Hanover woman ended 2025 on a high note, winning $100,000 in the final Lotto Max draws of the year.
Wilma Hannivan matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the December 30, 2025, draw.
"This money is going to help me in so many ways," said Hannivan while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings. "I plan to purchase a new car since my old one suddenly broke down. The timing of this win is beyond perfect."
As for the rest of her windfall, Hannivan plans to save and invest.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pioneer on 10th Street in Hanover.
