Mental Health First Aid Training (MHFAT) will be hosting an upcoming session in Bayfield.
The organization says the session will take place on Wednesday April 29 from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
The session is being done in partnership with the Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health, alongside other local partners.
Participants will gain "knowledge and confidence to recognize and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges and crises. They will also learn information on local, regional and national resources, gain enhanced knowledge and awareness of mental health and substance use issues and illnesses and learn strategies and tools to improve and maintain personal mental wellness," according to the MHFAT.
The course is $150 per participant, and you can register by clicking here.
