The Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation has raised $12 million toward its $18 million goal for the hospital expansion project.
Capital Campaign Co-chair Kathryn Freimanis expressed gratitude for the community’s support, saying, "This achievement reflects the generosity and commitment of our local communities. We are confident that together we will raise the final $6 million in 2026, just in time for the start of the hospital expansion."
The project will bring Bruce County's first MRI and upgraded health care facilities to better serve patients and families.
Freimanis encouraged residents to donate soon, noting, "Contributions made before December 31 will qualify for a charitable tax receipt for the 2025 tax year. We invite everyone to be part of this historic effort to transform local health care."
