Cyclist killed in crash near Harriston

A crash between two vehicles and a bicycle northwest of Harriston has claimed the life of a man.

Emergency crews were called to the collision on Highway 9 near Anna's Lane around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The cyclist, a 39-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The crash kept Highway 9 between Anna's Lane and Hutchinson Street closed for several hours. It has since been reopened.

The probe into the cause of the collision is ongoing, police said.
