Driver airlifted to hospital after crashing into tree

A driver had to be airlifted to a hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Bruce County.

On October 13 at 8:10 p.m., South Bruce OPP, Bruce County Paramedic Services, and South Bruce Fire Rescue were called to a report of a vehicle crashing into a tree on a residential property in South Bruce along Sideroad 40.

The 22-year-old driver, a resident of South Bruce, was airlifted to a hospital in London with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
