The Hanover Police Service is investigating after receiving reports of a suspicious male "watching kids at play."
According to Hanover Police Chief Chris Knoll, Hanover Police Service received two separate reports on Thursday evening about a "suspicious male driving a grey 4-door BMW sedan, that was reportedly watching children at play."
The first incident happened approximately 4 p.m. near a gymnastics training facility close to the intersection of 1st Street and 18th Avenue in Hanover. The second incident happened at approximately 6:30 p.m. close to the intersection of 13th Street and 13th Avenue near a school playground.
Police are trying to locate the suspect who is believed to be involved in both incidents and speak with them.
Parents are being reminded to talk to their kids about strangers and their own safety, and form an action plan in these situations that includes contacting police as soon as possible.
