Provincial police in Grey Highlands are trying to track down a fishing boat and trailer that were stolen sometime in the last month and a half.
OPP were called about theft from a property on Grey Road 12 on Tuesday. Officers were told that sometime between August 4 and September 16, someone took the 1988 19 foot Starcraft Islander fishing boat that was retrofitted for an outboard motor, along with a 1988 Shorelander boat trailer and a 90hp Yamaha 4-stroke outboard motor from the model year 2008-2010. A set of Toyo Open Country WLT1 winter tires were also snatched.
A description of the suspect or suspects was not provided.
Grey Bruce OPP are asking anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area during that time frame or who has any information about the stolen items to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
