Bruce County Museum offers summer fun

The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre has plenty in store for visitors looking for some fun for the rest of this summer.

Marketing Coordinator Leyla Top says the museum is packed with engaging exhibits, hands-on activities, and special events for all ages.

"We've got exhibits on everything from local marine heritage and pioneer life to indigenous history in our Anishinaabe Endaat Gallery and more," said Top. "One of the highlights in this museum is our giant replica War of 1812 ship, the HMS General Hunter, that you can actually climb on board."

She says it’s a great time for both locals and tourists to rediscover the space and explore Bruce County’s rich history and culture.

"Beyond the exhibits, we've got a full lineup of drop-in activities, running daily all summer long. That includes Lego Fridays, pop-up summer crafting, cultural demonstrations, movie Mondays, and even some wildlife and science shows," Top explained. "There's always something happening. It's a great way to make the most of your visit."
