The Louise Marshall Hospital (LMH) Foundation says it well exceeded its fundraising goal for the annual gala to support the Mount Forest hospital.
This year, more than $175,000 was raised, which will fund key pieces of equipment needed to support the Inpatient Unit, including vital signs machines, central care monitors for special care rooms, ceiling-mounted patient lifts, and furniture upgrades.
The "Feathers & Fedoras: The Golden Age" gala was held on June 14, at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex, all set to a 1920’s speakeasy theme.
The LMH Foundation thanked all of sponsors and donors who supported, and the guests of the sold-out gala.
"It is only with the truly outstanding support from our community that this success was made possible," said Scott Hartle, LMH Foundation Board Chair. "We are so grateful for the many contributions of our guests, sponsors and donors, as well as our vendors and volunteers, that helped to make this year's Gala our best one yet."
The Foundation says plans are already underway for the sixth annual gala in June of 2026. Those looking for more information or to support the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation can visit www.louisemarshallfoundation.ca.
