Stratford Police have arrested and charged five people in relation to drug-trafficking as part of a months-long, multi-jurisdictional investigation.
Police say four warrants were served across Stratford and Waterloo, resulting in the seizure of drugs with an estimated value of over $100,000.
The investigation began last year, and earlier in 2025, police say the Street Crime Unit partnered with Criminal Intelligence Service Ontario to launch Project Weston.
Police seized 378 grams of cocaine, 185 grams of fentanyl, 306 grams of methamphetamine and 471 hydromorphone pills as part of the searches. A handgun, ammunition and cash were also seized.
The project resulted in a 24-year-old man from Waterloo and a 47-year-old woman from Stratford being charged and held in custody. A 22-year-old Waterloo woman, 37-year-old Stratford man and 27-year-old Straford woman were charged and released with future court dates.
Stratford Police thanked partners in the Waterloo Regional Police Service and Woodstock Police Service for their help during the investigation.
