A South Huron man has been charged following what police are calling a break and enter and theft of a motor vehicle in West Perth.
Perth County OPP say officers were called to a residence on Perth Road 179 Friday for a break and enter in progress.
According to police, an unknown person was attempting to flee after stealing the homeowner's vehicle.
The 26-year-old is now facing charges for break and enter and theft of a motor vehicle.
Police say he is being held in custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date.
