A 12-year-old child is in hospital fighting for life after a collision involving a skid steer and bicycle south of Mount Forest.
Emergency crews were called to a farm in the area of Highway 6 and Sideroad 2 around 10 a.m. on Saturday after a child riding a bike was hit by the machine. The child was airlifted to hospital by Ornge air ambulance with serious injuries.
The child is listed in critical condition, Wellington OPP said on Monday.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
