Four different local festivals and events are splitting over $100,000 in funding from the provincial government.
Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Paul Vickers announced that his riding would be getting just over $103,000 that will be shared by the local attractions.
The Grey Highlands RAM Rodeo is receiving just over $17,800, the Chi-Cheemaun Festival is getting nearly $11,000, the Electric Eclectics Festival is receiving $20,000, and the Sauble Beach Party will be getting $55,000.
The funds are coming through the 2025 Experience Ontario program.
The provincial government says it has invested over $20 million this year to support "festivals and events across Ontario to help organizers expand programming and draw visitors to stay longer in local accommodations, eat in restaurants, shop at local retailers and support main street businesses."
