Reservations open for Chi-Cheemaun ferry sailings

The Owen Sound Transportation Company (OSTC) has announced that reservations for the iconic Chi-Cheemaun ferry are now open for the 2025 season.

The ferry will operate daily between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island from May 2 to October 26.

During the peak season, the picturesque journey across Georgian Bay takes approximately one hour and 45 minutes, while off-peak sailings will last around two hours.

The Chi-Cheemaun’s vehicle deck is equipped to accommodate vehicles of all sizes, from motorhomes and commercial trucks to bicycles. Walk-on passengers are also welcome.

Travelers eager to explore Manitoulin Island or the Bruce Peninsula can view the sailing schedule online at ontarioferries.com.
