County thanks local business for donation to paramedic services

A local business has donated money to Bruce County Paramedic Services to help with new equipment.

The county is thanking Marvin Freiburger and Sons Inc. for their donation of $1,000 to support Bruce County Paramedic Services.

The money will be going towards new IV training arms that will help with the transition to new response equipment.

Angela Freiburger presented the donation to Bruce County’s Deputy Chief of Paramedic Services, Raymond Lux, on Tuesday, December 10.

Bruce County Paramedic Services employs a staff of about 100 Full-time and Part-time paramedics that provide pre-hospital care to citizens and visitors of Bruce County.

“Marvin Freiburger & Sons Inc. appreciates local first responders and all that they do to keep people safe. Emergency Services are such an important resource for our community,” said Angela Freiburger.

“Bruce County Paramedic Services is very honored that Marvin and Angela support our service every year. Their donation supports the community in such a meaningful way," added Bruce County Paramedic Services Chief Steve Schaus.
