Maroons to open GOHL season on the road

The Chatham Maroons will kick off the 2026-2027 Greater Ontario Hockey League (GOHL) on Saturday, September 12.

The Maroons will play the Nationals in London at 2 p.m. before their home opener at Chatham Memorial Arena on Sunday, September 13 at 7 p.m. against the Komoka Kings.

Chatham will then head to Stratford on Friday, September 18 to face the Warriors in a rematch of last season's second-round playoff series, which the Maroons lost 4-1.

Other games of note include a Sunday afternoon game in Chatham on December 20 against St. Thomas, and the Maroons will head to Komoka on Monday, February 15 for an afternoon game on Family Day.

The Maroons will close out the regular season on Sunday, March 7 against Listowel.

Chatham will play four pre-season games starting Wednesday, August 26 against the Vipers in LaSalle. The Maroons will then head to Sarnia to face the Legionnaires on Friday, August 28, before playing two home games on Sunday, August 30, against LaSalle, and Sunday, September 6, against Sarnia, both at Thames Campus Arena.
