The Chatham Goodfellows organization is thanking those who participated in its successful 50/50 fundraiser put on by the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers.
Nadine Giroux, who led this year's fundraiser, helped the group successfully sell 8,000 $5 tickets with a potential prize of 20 thousand dollars.
The winning ticket holder, Rob Hill, who purchased his ticket in Tilbury in early April, was astonished upon being notified of his win, having barely recalled purchasing the ticket.
Chatham Goodfellows thanks everyone who bought tickets and all the volunteers who made the fundraiser possible.
